Position:
Clanwilliam have an exciting opportunity for a talented Business Analyst to join our team on a 12 month fixed-term contract, with a view to permanency post contract.
The successful candidate will join Clanwilliam Ireland’s technology team, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. We are looking for a problem solver to play a critical role in defining and enabling business change in a fast-paced development environment.
This person is a self-starter with strong creative and analytical skills who can take a business case and investigate and propose appropriate solutions to agreed timelines and budgets, working with both stakeholders and Development. The ideal candidate will actively participate in project planning, estimation, requirements analysis, solution design, change implementation.
Requirements:
Main Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong and collaborative working relationship with Stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Organise and participate in project initiation and kick off workshops.
- Generate Workflow diagrams to outline current processes, proposed new processes & solutions.
- Prototype proposed solutions.
- Assist stakeholders in prioritisation and defining business processes.
- Agile User story creation including robust acceptance criteria.
- Participate in and support Testing Phase.
- Support business readiness to ensure smooth delivery of production deployments.
- Support and deliver demos/presentations to stakeholders.
- Provide Team Metrics.
- Ensure that the standards and methodologies in use within Clanwilliam are adhered to.
- Regular & timely reporting of progress versus plans.
- Resolution & Escalation of risks, blockers, issues & dependencies.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes:
- A relevant Third Level degree or appropriate professional qualification.
- Proven business analyst skills.
- Strong attention to detail essential.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to challenge stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate solution is achieved.
- Understanding of project management lifecycle & methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable record of building working relationships.
- Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
- Ability to provide excellent service to all customers and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative and a desire to develop knowledge and experience.
